Fight Against Malnutrition

Malnutrition remains a critical public health challenge in Madhya Pradesh, with a stunting rate of 42%. Approximately 3.3 million children under the age of five are stunted, and 2.7 million are affected by wasting. To address this serious concern, we have launched a statewide initiative titled "Fight Against Malnutrition", aimed at improving child health and nutrition outcomes across the state.

Project Scope & Activities

  • The project is being implemented across all 52 districts of Madhya Pradesh.
  • We identify and engage families with children below 5 years of age, focusing on high-risk and vulnerable communities.
  • Children are systematically screened for diarrhoea, acute anemia and acute malnutrition.
  • Early identification of nutrition-related illnesses is a core objective of the program.
  • Upon diagnosis, appropriate referral and treatment arrangements are made through healthcare facilities.
  • The program supports both preventive and curative interventions to reduce malnutrition.
  • Distribution of iron and folic acid tablets is carried out to address anemia.
  • ORS and zinc supplements are provided to manage and prevent diarrhoea.
  • Vitamin A doses are administered as per health guidelines to support child immunity.
  • Nutritious energy supplements and health drinks are supplied to improve dietary intake.
  • Community awareness and caregiver guidance are promoted to encourage long-term nutrition improvement.
  • The initiative aims to reduce child morbidity, mortality, and long-term developmental risks.

Providing Relief To Cancer Patients

  • Cancer not only affects the body but also places immense emotional, physical, and financial stress on patients and their families. Recognizing these challenges, our organization is actively engaged in working for the welfare of cancer patients by providing comprehensive support throughout their treatment journey. Our objective is to ensure that patients receive timely medical care, essential medicines, and basic amenities required to manage the side effects of cancer treatment and improve their quality of life.
  • We support cancer patients by facilitating access to treatment, including necessary injections, tablets, and other prescribed medical supplies that are critical during chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and follow-up care. In addition to medical assistance, we provide body care and hygiene products that help patients cope with treatment-related complications such as skin dryness, weakness, hair loss, and reduced immunity. These supportive items play an important role in maintaining patient comfort, dignity, and overall well-being during prolonged treatment periods.
  • Alongside treatment support, we actively organize cancer awareness programs to educate communities about early warning signs, prevention, and the importance of timely diagnosis. Regular health screening camps are conducted to help detect cancer at an early stage, where treatment outcomes are significantly improved. Through awareness and screening initiatives, we aim to reduce delayed diagnosis and promote early medical intervention.
  • Our approach is holistic and patient-centered, focusing not only on medical needs but also on emotional support and humane care. We work closely with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community volunteers to ensure that each patient receives personalized attention and reliable assistance. By combining treatment support, awareness, and early detection efforts, our organization strives to ease the burden of cancer and help patients face their journey with strength, hope, and dignity.
Ongoing Project

Support Under The Chief Minister's Heart Child Scheme

  • Congenital heart diseases remain one of the leading causes of serious illness among children, often requiring timely diagnosis, specialized treatment, and costly surgical intervention. Under the Chief Minister's Heart Child Scheme, our organization actively supports children suffering from congenital heart defects by facilitating access to lifesaving cardiac care and related assistance.
  • Working in alignment with government health initiatives, we help identify eligible children from economically and socially disadvantaged families and guide them through the process of availing benefits under the scheme. This includes assistance in medical screening, documentation, hospital referrals, and coordination with empaneled government and private hospitals.
  • Through this initiative, children receive support for essential diagnostic tests, medical treatment, and corrective heart surgeries as per scheme provisions. Our role extends beyond treatment facilitation-we also provide counseling and guidance to parents to help them understand the condition, treatment options, and post-surgery care requirements. By reducing financial and procedural barriers, we aim to ensure that no child is denied critical heart care due to lack of resources.
  • In addition to medical support, we work closely with healthcare professionals and local authorities to promote early detection of congenital heart diseases through awareness programs and health screening camps. Early identification significantly improves treatment outcomes and survival rates.
  • Our commitment under the Chief Minister's Heart Child Scheme is to protect young lives, ease the burden on families, and contribute to a healthier future for children. Through compassionate intervention and effective coordination, we strive to transform government support into meaningful, lifesaving outcomes for every eligible child.
